Wallace – Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Isabelle Allen, 61, who died at her home here Tuesday were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Wolf Creek Church south of here. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery. Mrs. Allen was born March 12, 1885 at Wallace, a daughter of Thomas J. and Mary E. Nolan. She was married March 19, 1904 to William Thomas Allen. Surviving with the husband are one daughter, Bertha, Indianapolis; one sister, Mrs. Dave Finklestine of Texas; two brothers, Esten of Wallace and James Nolan of Terre Haute; two stepsons, Byron Allen of Crawfordsville (only one mentioned) and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. – thanks to BD
